Domania launches Portfolio Match; IndyMac signs up for newest data software
application
BOSTON, March 13, 2002 - Domania, Inc., a Boston-based financial and marketing
services software firm, announced today that it has launched its latest data software application,
Portfolio Match. Portfolio Match enables lenders to append behavioral demographics to their customer
portfolio using analytic models that Domania developed through years of studying how users interact
with their Home Price Check data. Portfolio Match analyzes anonymous patterns and targets customers
who are considering buying or selling a home or getting a home loan, significantly boosting direct
mail results by targeting customers before they transact. Domania will bring version 2.0 of Portfolio
Match to market in time for the spring home-buying season.
IndyMac Bank's consumer-direct home lending division (www.indymacmortgage.com) has
signed on as the first client to use Portfolio Match. IndyMac Bank Home Lending is a leading mortgage
innovator and was recently named the number one overall Internet mortgage Web site for the fifth
consecutive time by Gomez, the Internet quality management firm. IndyMac Bank funded $17.5
billion in loans last year and records some of the highest consumer conversion rates in the industry.
They originate 70 percent of their mortgage volume over the Internet, and service 130,000 loans with
a total servicing portfolio of approximately $20 billion.
"IndyMac Bank Home Lending is always looking for ways to increase the effectiveness
of our direct mail programs," said Chuck Holroyd, vice president of Marketing for IndyMac Bank Home
Lending. "We're pleased to be working with Domania and look forward to benefiting from their tremendous
data expertise."
"Portfolio Match complements our flagship product for lenders, Portfolio Protect,"
said Ben Joslin, Vice President of Marketing for Domania. "Our products are comprised of proven technology
that enables lenders to gather and react to market intelligence, helping them to learn more about their
users and boost their results by making the right offers to the right customers at the right time.
Portfolio Match brings our product line to a new level, enabling our clients to connect Home Price Check
data to what their customers do with that data. We want lenders to be able to take full advantage of
direct marketing's potential to target customers and offers, IndyMac provides excellent opportunities to
do so."
